Black Line Swim School launches GOswim Program

Black Line Swim School in Griffith, NSW, has marked a significant milestone as the first independent swim school in New South Wales to offer the GOswim program – a best-in-class service to children and adults across Australia offered in partnership with Swimming Australia.

One of the largest independent learn-to-swim and water safety programs, with a membership of over 62,000 nationwide, GOswim offers a seamless pathway towards realising the dream of representing Australia on the international stage. Recently enhanced with updated lesson plans, a modern curriculum and captivating new characters, GOswim continues to lead the way in aquatic education for both children and adults nationwide.

GOswim’s commitment to water safety extends across the country, ensuring children have access to essential swimming skills. Black Line Swim School’s collaboration with GOswim further strengthens this commitment, bringing world-class swimming education to the heart of Griffith.

The integration of GOswim at Black Line Swim School commenced on Monday, April 22nd, offering students a pathway to enhance their swimming skills at the school’s state-of-the-art indoor heated swimming facility. The enthusiastic response from the community is evident, with 800 students already enrolled in the program.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Black Line Swim School, one of Australia’s leading private swim schools, to bring the GOswim Program to the Griffith community,” said Kirk Marks, General Manager of GOswim Australia.

“It’s truly exciting to witness a strong regional Swim School like Black Line embrace the GOswim Program, paving the way for their swimmers to cultivate safety, health and fitness while enjoying themselves in a secure environment.”

Debbie Della Franca, the owner of Black Line Swim School, also expressed her excitement about incorporating the GOswim Program into their curriculum, emphasising the program’s ability to provide a seamless progression for students, offering opportunities to join the GOswim Academy and advance through various swimming squads.

“We are thrilled to launch GOswim in the Riverina. Our families are enthusiastic about the program and the children adore the GOswim characters. They are eagerly striving to enhance their swimming skills to earn incentive certificates and ultimately, a GOswim medal!” Debbie said.

As the first independent swim school in NSW to join GOswim, Black Line Swim School sets a precedent for regional facilities across Australia, aligning with Swimming Australia’s vision to expand the program nationwide.

The initiative aims to empower swimmers of all levels, fostering safety, confidence and fitness in a fun and secure environment.
